Installation Instructions

Ensure your vehicle is fully serviced, at operating temperature, and that the battery is fully charged prior to flashing.

Flashing the Stage 1 ECU Tune:

1. Put the vehicle into ignition position 2 (press Start/Stop twice without touching the brake; all dashboard LEDs must be ON, engine OFF).
2. Turn off all accessories, HVAC, lights, and unplug peripheral USB/SD media devices.
3. Wait at least 60 seconds for the main infotainment system to complete booting.
4. Plug the handheld module into the OBD2 port beneath the steering column.
5. Watch the green status LED begin blinking on the module side.
6. Wait 1–3 minutes until the green light stops blinking completely.
7. Turn ignition OFF and remove the module from the OBD2 port.

If dashboard messages appear (e.g., "Mercedes Connect Inoperable" or reset clock), turn the vehicle completely off for 60 seconds and restart. Messages will auto-clear.

Switching Back to Stock Map:

1. Carefully open the long side of the handheld module box (do not insert a blade more than 2–3mm to protect internal electronics).
2. Remove the pre-installed Stage 1 microSD card.
3. Insert the provided secondary microSD card containing your original factory file.
4. Repeat the standard flashing steps listed above.
